New Music of The Day – XLIII : Oh, Josephine – Vienna Ditto

387238_10150393859751517_2114019659_nVienna Ditto live in an alternate world, a world woven from their own musical imagination, a world where their dreams are slices of delicious film noir and their M4 corridor base is the new home of cosmic gospel and sci-fi blues. This strange duo of mad musical inventor and alluring lounge jazz singer is a pairing as unlikely as their music is brilliant and the whole package seems to spring from a stylised graphic novel where steampunk and black and white movies are re-imagined by the likes of Lynch and Tarrentino. Phenomenal!
